AoDR FestivalAoDR Festival

The AoDR Festivals is an annual online film festival that aims to showcase the best of short films in a range of categories:

  • Live Action
  • Documentary
  • Animation
  • LGTBQ+ theme

In addition to juries awarding prizes of $125 for the top film in each category, audience awards offer prizes of $100 for the favourite film, and $50 for second and third prizes.

The AoDR Festival has 4 main competitive strands:

  • Best Live Action Short Film
  • Best Documentary Short Film
  • Best Animated Short Films
  • LGBTQ+ theme film

In addition, films can play out of competition, and be eligible for our Audience prizes.

The AoDR Festival offers the following prizes:
  • Best Live Action Short Film: $125
  • Best Documentary Action Short Film: $125
  • Best Animated Short Film: $125
  • Best LGBTQ+ Film: $125
In addition, the Festival Audience are invited to vote for their favourite films, with additional awards:
  • Audience Award - Gold: $100
  • Audience Award - Silver: $50
  • Audience Award - Bronze: $50
