“I wanted to challenge the thought of an ideal relationship by showing that any kind of relationship one day will end. To do this I chose to show two couples that are polar opposites, and one couple that are a harmonious match. I hope to push the viewer to reflect over what is seen as right and wrong, which might be more abstract and individual for each situation.”Winner of Audience Favourite at Florida Animation Festival and the Grand Jury Award at Animayo International Film Festival, as well as receiving Official Selections from dozens of festivals worldwide, Pearl Diver is nominated for Best Animated Short.
